Japanese study resources

- This is a list of online resources for studying Japanese -

For the roughly 5 years I've been studying Japanese online, I have found tons of online resources, but I'll narrow down a list of my current favorites. Some are free, and some aren't but they're all useful in their own way. Hope this list is useful. ^^~

About.com Japanese Guide - Easy and straight forward to understand. It really is more about Japanese.

Nihongo Up -A good all round Japanese learning website.
Anime World - A general and basic learning site.
The Japanese Page - Community and Japanese learning site

Vocabulary/Kanji/Kana:

Usagi's Genki Resources - Vocabulary and Kana resources for your Genki studies.
Skritter - Learn Kanji, Hiragana & Katakana stoke order and vocabulary with spaced repetition.
iKnow - A web app that takes revision to the next level.

Practice:

Lang-8 - Write journal entries in the language you're learning for natives to correct.

Dictionaries:

Denshi Jisho  - Check example sentences for the use of the word you're looking up.

Browser, iSo & Android apps:

Skritter (Android) - Learn to write kanji stroke by stroke with your touch screen.
Rikaichan (Firefox) - A mouse over pop-up dictionary.
Kotoba (iSo) - A simple app for learning Japanese on your iPhone.

I'll be adding more as new things appear or as some old ones go outdated.
