For the roughly 5 years I've been studying Japanese online, I have found tons of online resources, but I'll narrow down a list of my current favorites. Some are free, and some aren't but they're all useful in their own way. Hope this list is useful. ^^~
Grammar/General:

Visualizing Japan- Very well designed lessons, if not visually appealing, it is at least the best visual approach to learning Grammar. |

Vocabulary/Kanji/Kana:

Skritter - Learn Kanji, Hiragana & Katakana stoke order and vocabulary with spaced repetition. |

Lang-8 - Write journal entries in the language you're learning for natives to correct. |
